WOMEN DEVELOPMENT CELL (WDC ) & INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE (ICC) organized a Brainstorming on BHAGWAD GITA-TREASURE HUNT on Wednesday, 19th December 2018. The Programme began with the Introduction followed by University Song. Dr. Rajshri Bhatt, Chairperson – ICC gave a Formal Welcome to all participants and Invited Guests. Dr. Savita Gandhi, Chairperson – WDC gave a quick overview about the WDC-ICC  and outlined the activities therein. The President of the function, Honourable Vice Chancellor-Gujarat University, Prof. (Dr.) Himanshu Pandya aptly reflected on the teachings in our holy scriptures and the significance of those teachings in our daily lives. The Invited speaker, Dr. Das from ISCON  highlighted the  issues that affect the people today irrespective of age and gender. The treasures hidden in the Bhagwad Gita are the deep philosophical meanings that are relevant in today’s lives. Dr. Das himself, once a Professional Chartered Accountant, had renounced his practice and taken up teaching young minds, the essence of Gita. He very effectively could illustrate the meanings hidden in the magical words of Bhagwad Gita to the students and enthused a lot of interest to lead a stress free happy life. Dr. Archana Mankad, Member Secretary – ICC & WDC presented the formal Vote of Thanks. Shri Nirav Raval anchored the whole programme very gracefully as Master of Ceremonies.
